Description

We are looking for a Finance professional with an eye for details and great communication skills to join the international team of a trading company which specialises in wholesale & distribution of fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG).

The company is located in Amsterdam and employs colleagues from all around Europe.

Responsibilities:

  • Posting of invoices and credit card transactions;
  • Liaising with suppliers and reconciling statements;
  • Ensuring payments are made to suppliers;
  • Liaising with customers and following up on outstanding balances;
  • Conducting intercompany and bank reconciliations;
  • Performing submission of quarterly VAT returns;
  • Ensuring compliance with legislation and finance standards;
  • Providing accounting and administrative support as required.

Skillsets and requirements
Previous local experience in a similar role will be considered an asset;

  • Fluent in English and Dutch both verbally as well as written and preferably in Italian;
  • Be focused with great attention to detail;
  • Great communication skills.
