Sales Executive (Hybrid)

Description

We are looking for a Sales Executive to join the international team of a trading company which
specializes in wholesale & distribution of fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG).
The company is located in Amsterdam and employs colleagues from all around Europe. This post is
based in The Netherlands with the option of working in Malta for up to 3 months on an annual basis.

The ideal candidate would be:

● Detailed-oriented, whilst also keeping the bigger picture in sight
● Able to work individually and take ownership, as well as part of a team
● Self-motivated, highly organized and with previous proven experience in sales
● Confident and proactive in dealing with business clients, both in-person and via phone, email etc.
● Able to work and adapt within a fast-paced, ever-changing, international environment
● Analytical and commercially minded, with an ability to close deals
● Computer literate and fluent, both written and verbally, in English & German. Fluency in French,
Dutch and/or another language would be considered an asset.

Tasks and responsibilities:

● Establishing and maintaining strong positive relationships with clients and new customers
● Being responsible for the full sales cycle – from the first contact with a client to receiving the
payment
● Ensuring that all sale proposals and agreements are processed in a timely and effective manner
● Conducting research on new markets and products and using it to generate action plans and
pursue them
● Expanding the company’s portfolio and testing out new business ideas and strategies
● Generating new business opportunities by attracting new customers, promoting the company’s
services and conducting outdoor sales meetings as necessary
