I have approximately 6 years of experience in Project Management with focus on Lean and Quality (i.e.: 5 years) and IT (i.e.: 1 year) within manufacturing and non-manufacturing environments.
The most relevant experience so far has been the one at Parker Hannifin where I had the opportunity to lead and facilitate 4 projects in Lean and Quality, experiencing firsthand the primary structure of project management: defining the project charter, carrying out the kick-off meeting with the team (e.g.: eventual process maps definition and action plan), following through actions with team members, tracking KPIs, and monitoring the implementations’ effectiveness.
I had the opportunity to work in IT as well (i.e.: Kverneland), learning SAP and carrying out projects on different modules with a primary attention to materials, inventory, purchasing, and manufacturing (i.e.: primarily SAP MM and PP modules). I was able to complete 17 projects as a whole, mostly local implementations. Projects started by garnering functional and non-functional business requirements with key users and moved forward by designing alternatives and ranking them. Eventually, a testing session with key users was leading to an implementation.
The chief experience aforementioned is underpinned by engineering experiences in different roles. I accrued expertise in collecting, storing, and analyzing engineering data primarily in Excel and R (e.g.: pricing formulas creations, mild data analyses, and database designing). I came in touch with standards such as Reach, RoHS, Building Standards (e.g.: LEEDS, BREEAM), and ISO (e.g.: ISO TS). I accrued a mild experience in upselling and cajoling my customers while I have been always careful to nurture good relationships with them. I could experience firsthand presentations to Vice Presidents, Managing Directors, General Managers, and Business Managers and I lead few trainings in Lean Manufacturing both in manufacturing and non-manufacturing environments.
I have extensively experienced starting up environments where resilience and patience have been primarily important to try to obtain a positive advancement. I am currently looking for a new job as a result of a settlement agreement due to economic reasons.
