We are looking for an Operations Executive to join the international team of a leading
wholesaler based in the Netherlands.
As our ideal candidate, you would be:
• In possession of a good level of education.
• Computer literate, particularly with Microsoft Office applications.
• Knowledgeable and experienced in warehousing and logistics. Having familiarity with
customs systems and procedures would be an asset.
• Fluent in Dutch and English, written and spoken.
• Able to work individually but also as part of a team.
• Reliable, organised, sharp-minded, has a positive attitude and strong interpersonal
skills.
• Willing to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines.
• Willing to be flexible and perform other team duties where necessary.
Your tasks and responsibilities would be:
• Acting as a liaison between the warehouse and third parties;
• Requesting, negotiating and confirming freight;
• Coordinating with third party service providers;
• Liaising with customs & authorities as required from time to time;
• Preparing CMRs and documentation related to shipping;
• General coordination of operations, to ensure smooth daily running;
• Perform office duties and provide general administrative support;
• Reporting accurately and clearly on activities undertaken;
• Carrying out any other task which may be reasonably required in this position.
