Someone who enjoys getting her/his act together and otherwise figuring things out

What you will do
In this position, you will be responsible along with another Office Manager for
supporting the entire organization in facility, secretarial, and organizational areas with
possible expansion into administrative support.
We are looking for someone with preferably a hospitality background. Initially, this is
a part-time position of 20 hours spread over 3 or more days, where you will take over
some of the work from your colleague, but together you will be responsible for
supporting the organization.
Your tasks will include:
● Receiving guests/ Answering the phone
● Organizing and taking care of lunch, orders on a daily/ weekly basis
● Ensuring a pleasant, tidy and efficiently organized work environment
● Support in the organization of events
● Calendar management
● Travel booking support
● Maintaining our general email inbox, mail and filing
● Ordering office supplies, gifts
Together with the other office manager, you form the office management team, with
your initial focus being more on hospitality, the office and the organization. Together
with your colleague you will be supportive of events and other ad hoc work.
This is a permanent job for 20 hours per week, spread over several days. The office
has one of the most beautiful backyards in Amsterdam and is located right in the center, near Artis.
Easily accessible by public transport or bicycle!

Are you the right candidate?

● You are hands-on and have a can-do attitude
● You are communicative, write and speak fluent English and preferably some good Dutch too
● You are available 20 hours week; with the possibility of expanding hours over time
● It helps if you also have interest and experience in administrative support
In addition, you have a sense of responsibility, are entrepreneurial, solution-oriented
and a team player. You are open, honest and connecting.
